The terms, in plain English.

MEND is a New Zealand-owned business selling hydrocolloid and microneedle patches. Orders ship from Auckland. All prices are in New Zealand dollars.

Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe (card or Afterpay). Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds — you will get a confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example a stock error on our side), we will tell you and refund it in full, promptly.

We ship within New Zealand via NZ Post tracked. Orders leave within 1 working day and typically arrive within 1–3 working days. Shipping is $6.50, free on orders over $50. You will get an email with tracking when your order ships.

Change of mind: because our products are hygiene products — patches that go on skin — we cannot accept change-of-mind returns. Please choose carefully; the patch guide exists to help you pick right the first time.

Wrong item sent: if we sent you the wrong product, that is on us. Email us and we will send the correct item or refund you in full, including shipping. You do not need to return the wrong one.

Faulty or damaged products: nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy — replacement or refund. Email us with a photo and your order details and we will sort it.

Patch Points are a loyalty benefit, not currency. Points are earned at 5 per $1 spent (pre-shipping), redeemed at 100 points = $1 off, can cover up to 50% of an order’s subtotal, and expire 12 months after they were earned. Referral and social bonuses are as described on the site.

Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and we may reverse points obtained through misuse of the programme (for example self-referral or fake accounts). If an order is refunded, points earned on it are reversed and points redeemed on it are restored.

Our patches are for the uses described on each product page — surface pimples, under-skin spots, blisters, and minor skin protection. They are not medical treatment. Follow the guidance on the product page (including what each product is not for), stop using a product if your skin reacts badly, and see a health professional for anything beyond a minor skin complaint.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.
